cotton .And most cotton is grown with pesticides,
insecticides, and other chemicals. In fact,
it takes almost 3 kg of pesticides
to grow one acre of cotton, and these chemicals
are some of the worst on the planet for
human and animal health. Want to do something?
Here’s
a shocker: in a high school study
of the waste coming from their cafeteria,
over 99% of the so-called “garbage”
could actually be composted, recycled, or
reused. Next time you’re sitting in
your cafeteria, take a second to look around
you at what’s going on in those nicely
covered garbage cans.
